Cheryl captured our daughter’s spirit throughout her senior portrait sitting! She IS our quieter daughter, an observer of the world, a deep thinker, but beautifully funny and silly, and full of life that bubbles out daily. We were amazed to see all the different facets of our girl/young woman through the lens. We love Cheryl’s work, appreciate her talented eye, and creative genius……and appreciate all her expertise above and beyond that of a photographer. Cheryl has the gift of an artist’s eye. Can’t wait for our youngest daughter to need senior portraits in a couple years!

Cheryl is my BPFL (Best Photographer For Life). I originally used her as my photographer as a senior in highschool. She made me so comfortable and took some photos that were very true to me. Less than a year after my photos were taken I got engaged! Due to my fiancé being in the military we couldn’t do engagement pictures. And instead Cheryl offered me a boudoir session as a gift to my future husband. I am a plus sized woman and was terrified at the thought of being that exposed, but she encouraged me, made me comfortable, and the images she captured made me feel beautiful. This past February my husband and I got married, and once again I called upon Cheryl in the freezing cold of southern MN. She was a warm ray of sunshine. Making sure to be at every important moment and capture the shots I REALLY wanted. I still cry at my wedding photos …

I LOVE Cheryl! She did such an amazing job with my photo session and she made me feel so comfortable and confindant! I can’t thank her enough! Now that my last child is a senior, I can say confidently that Cheryl was able to create a rapport and a relaxed atmosphere with all three of my photo-resistant children during their senior pictures. I know she took in consideration their interests, edited & detailed according to their requests, and produced the pictures we dreamed of having.
